As a singer and song writer myself, my vision with the studio is to create a retreat for people to hone in their creative passions. The studio has space for basic recording, rehearsing, plus microphones available for up to 4 people podcasting

The Five Note Studio is the perfect location, set in the tranquility of the Mackenzie Basin, for you to host a retreat, meeting, workshop or special gathering.

Life on a Five Pound Note
Life on a Five Pound Note is a captivating exploration of pioneering life in the remote Mackenzie Country of New Zealand,
Written by Evelyn Hosken in 1964, this book offers a unique glimpse into the challenges and triumphs of early settlers. Mrs. Hosken recounts her husband's draw of Simons Hill Station in a land ballot, setting the stage for their family's move to the high country.
